Modern Day Jesus? This Guy Always Snaps Whenever Opponent Uses the ‘Snap?’ Emote

In what can only be described as a digital second coming, one Marvel Snap player has been hailed as the modern-day savior of sportsmanship. This player, known only by their in-game handle “SnapBack,” has developed a miraculous reputation for snapping every single time their opponent uses the ‘Snap?’ emote.

The ‘Snap?’ emote, often sarcastically spammed to opponents who are clearly about to lose, is as tilting as a Ms. Marvel thumbs up after a misplay. However, to SnapBack it’s seen as a request he can’t help but fulfill. “I’m a people pleaser,” he said with a smile. “I like to think I’m making someone’s day by giving them more cubes. I just hope they pay it forward, even though it’ll probably just encourage them to spam emotes more.”

Opponents of SnapBack recall the moment they realized they were gifted cubes they didn’t really deserve.

“I’m such a good Marvel Snapper that I was able to use emotes to double my cube earnings! Now, whenever I’m about to win I furiously tap the ‘Snap?’ emote to manipulate my opponent into acting against their own best interest. As a result, I’ve gone from watching my rank go up to infinite so I can now work on getting it to go down again. So worth it!”

SnapBack spoke at length about the reasoning behind his altruistic endeavor.

“I think people put a little too much effort into obtaining the twenty-ish dollar’s worth of rewards you get from making it to infinite rank. I’m able to work at my job for a couple hours, so I can easily make enough money to just buy most of what ranks have to offer. That way when I’m playing, I can enjoy the game along with the satisfaction that I am helping those poor fuckers who grind for a few hundred hours every months for $10 worth of gold and a new phrase for your username that no one ever reads.”

At time of press Marvel Snap developers have announced plans to create a new emote to memorialize SnapBack in the form of a chat bubble that reads “Ha ha, Dumbass”.
